The Essegi Automation/JUKI FA system represents a second-generation automated material handling system, an evolution of the industry-leading design from Essegi. At its core is the enhanced ISM3600 storage tower, featuring an automatic door and material conveyor.
The ISM3600 FA system seamlessly integrates with existing Essegi/JUKI storage towers. Utilizing the same server, software, and interfaces as the existing towers, the FAMR system ensures a smooth transition for users.
Its strong ERP/MES interfacing capabilities prioritize efficiency by reducing duplicate data entry, minimizing errors, and optimizing material handling processes.

Increase the versatility of your warehouse
The ISM UltraFlex 3600 FA has a maximum storage capacity of up to 3,644 7“ reels in an effective area of just 3.6 m². When using 15” reels, the maximum is 906 reels. In a mixed 7” and 15” configuration, a maximum of 1,940 7“ reels as well as 426 15“ reels can be stored in one single system.
Automatic hand-free lift door
Enhancing user experience, the ISM3600 FA features an innovative automatic hand-free door opening system designed for effortless manual loading and unloading. By simply placing your foot on the sensor marked with a distinctive red dot of light at the base of the tower, the door glides open, reminiscent of the convenient trunk-opening technology found in modern vehicles.
Urgent material request
Even when the extraction process is in full swing, and multiple orders are being fulfilled from various reels, you have the freedom to access any urgently needed material stored within the material towers. Located conveniently on the right side of the tower, this dedicated tray allows you to swiftly retrieve the required items without interrupting the kitting extraction process
